Located in the heart of the Cowichan Valley, the Cowichan Valley Museum reflects on the rich history found in the region dating back to 1886 in the rural settlement of Duncan's Crossing, also known as Alderlea. Today the museum is owned and operated by the terrific group of people at The Cowichan Historical Society and is a wonderful must-visit spot for those who live in the valley or are visiting.
