Abandoned Jordan River
Jordan River was once a thriving tiny community on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Frequented by surfers who enjoyed the pounding surf, today it sits nearly abandoned and forlorn due to seismic concerns by an upstream damn operated by the power authority. Recent news on the town reveal that all the buildings have been bought and are in process of being removed to avoid catastrophe. Soon these scenes will remain only in the memories of those who came here during a window of time.
