Deserted Farmhouse

This is another photographic study that focuses on old and deserted buildings. This farmhouse is located just south of Edmonton, Alberta. On our 2010 summer vacation we came across this stunning old building and spent an hour or so capturing some of these images. One of the outbuildings has completely collapsed and is in process of returning to the earth entirely. The backdrop of the rolling foothills and plains of Alberta make for a haunting scene.
