George Sawchuk was a famous Canadian artist who in his later years setup an outdoor art exhibit on his 4 acre parcel of land outside Fanny Bay. Today, this exhibit is widely known as an enchanted place to visit. Using a chainsaw and repurposed items, George set about to create a wonderland beyond description for everyone to enjoy. He was was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy in 1979.
